house tour: the kitchen!
at long last, i'm finally ready to show you some pictures of the new house! i still have some finishing touches to work on, but the kitchen is pretty much complete. i love having free reign in one of my favorite rooms of the house... one of the perks of living alone for the first time! 
when i first started browsing for houses, i was drawn to the drak granite/cabinetry style, and this kitchen is the complete opposite. i realized having the light cabinets and countertops made the whole space seem so bright, which i really love. also, had to throw in a couple pictures of percy - helping in the kicthen and waiting patiently by the oven for some baked goodies!
my pretty new kitchen table was a birthday/housewarming gift from my parents, and the snazzy animal-print pillows came from the previous owners! they are really soft and comfy, and give the bay window a nice touch. i took all of the pictures on the wall at a local bakery in black and white, framed them in $2 ikea frames, and hung them in a grid. what do you think? i love how they turned out :)
